Tax Returns - Online Filing |
||||||||
Filing year-end returns onlineUnder government legislation, large companies (250 or more employees) must have started filing end of year returns (P14 and P35 data) online by May 2005. Medium sized employers (50 - 249 employees) must do the same by May 2006. If you employ fewer than 50 employees, you do not have to start filing online until 2010. However, as an incentive to get you to file online earlier, the government is giving you up to £825.00* tax free spread over five years Sending year-end returns online is quick, reliable and secure. It cuts down on paperwork, reduces administration and postage costs and dispenses with the need for storage. Obtaining information like tax codes, tax credits, etc from the Inland Revenue is far quicker due to the fact that the data passes directly between computers without manual intervention. This minimises the risk of errors. To take advantage of this facility, you must be registered with the Inland Revenue. Alternatively you can employ an agent (e.g. Payroll Bureau) to do this on your behalf and you are still entitled to the incentive. The Bureau Payroll is a registered payroll bureau and can file on your behalf. All you need to do is complete a simple form (FB12) which we will send to you. This authorises us to act on your behalf. *Please note: £825.00 rebate is correct at the time of writing
